Morning sports fans,
Short one today…as its quiet out there!!!
Plenty of drama from Brazil overnight as Greece exit and Robben dives to see the Dutchies thorugh…
Quiet start to the week and end of 13/14 in store with news to come later on Chinese PMI amongst others sure to get us excited..Listless markets around the globe as summer hols and sporting events take precedence..Wimbledon,Brazil,Golf etc…
We will continue to chop around on low volumes especially once you step outside the top 50…still remain of the view that we need to be cautious…even the BIS has suggested things aren’t as rosy as markets suggest…
Idea of the Day-Tax loss selling comes to an end and the dogs will recover …a little…
As we come to the end of the year and tax loss selling abates I am going to continue to stay long of LYC as their Annus Horribilis comes to an end..I believe they have potential to pop up as resource stocks are re-evaluated and the lack of bad news in LYC proves a short term catalyst…I am looking forward to meeting the new CEO and hearing how she will turn this one around..I remain long…
Things to make me go mmm!!

Good news finally out from Egypt as they have cracked the AIDS cure with a hand held radio device that is supposed to not only kill HIV but Hep C too…apparently it looks like a kitchen mixer and was invented by an Army general!!!
Not sure the US will be seen as a saviour for Iraq as the Russians sell a whole bunch of Jet fighters to the Government to defeat the ISIS terrorists…these Ruskies are good…
Mass rallies in Hong Kong will focus the Chinese leadership on civil unrest this week…more stimulus to come to keep the masses happy..
Always choose a memorable password!
A lady helps her husband install a new computer.
Once it is completed, she tells him to select a password,
selecting a word that he’ll always remember.
As the computer asks him to enter it, he looks at his wife
and with a macho gesture and a wink in his eye,
he selects a word:
As he hits “enter”, to validate the selection, his wife
collapses with laughter and rolls about in hysteria!!
The computer had replied:
TOO SHORT- ACCESS DENIED!
Have a great day
